આટલા બધા પવિત્ર ગ્રંથો પહેલાથી જ અસ્તિત્વમાં છે ત્યારે આ રચનાની જરૂર કેમ પડી? કારણ કે જ્ઞાન માહિતી આપી શકે છે, પરંતુ ફક્ત અનુભૂતિ જ પરિવર્તન લાવે છે. આત્મસિદ્ધિનો જન્મ સિદ્ધાંતમાંથી નહીં પરંતુ પ્રત્યક્ષ અનુભવમાંથી થયો હતો - અજોડ સ્પષ્ટતા અને કરુણા સાથે વ્યક્ત કરાયેલ આંતરિક જાગૃતિનો પ્રવાહ.
પ્રબુદ્ધ લોકો એક જ સત્યનો અનુભવ કરે છે, છતાં દરેક વ્યક્તિ તેને એક અનોખી રીતે વ્યક્ત કરે છે. આત્મસિદ્ધિમાં, તે અભિવ્યક્તિ ખૂબ જ આત્મીય બની જાય છે - હૃદયને સ્પર્શી શકે તેટલી સરળ, છતાં આત્માને પ્રેરિત કરી શકે તેટલી ઊંડી. તે એક યાદ અપાવે છે કે મુક્તિ દૂરની કે અમૂર્ત નથી, પરંતુ વ્યક્તિના સાચા સ્વભાવની સીધી ઓળખ છે.
